PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid drawing material having both of better color-developing property and bending strength than those of the solid drawing material obtained by using a plate-formed alumina obtained by a surface treatment with a higher fatty acid such as publicly known stearic acid, etc., on using the plate-formed alumina. SOLUTION: This solid drawing material is characterized by using a composite plate-formed alumina obtained by arranging for fixing particles of a metal hydroxide on the surface of the plate-formed alumina and further covering with the higher fatty acid.
