PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner post fixing member and a corner post fixing structure using the same for easily fixing a corner post in a well workable manner. SOLUTION: The corner post fixing member 1 constructed with a fitting column portion 3 vertically erected on a horizontal base portion 2 is mounted at a corner portion of a waterproof panel (a floor member) 40. To the outer peripheral face of the fitting column portion 3 of the corner post fixing member 1, the inner peripheral face of the lower end of the corner post 30 is fitted so that the corner post 30 is fixed thereto in an approximately vertically rising condition.
