ELECTRODE PLATE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SECONDARY BATTERY USING ELECTRODE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode plate for a secondary battery which can maintain a short circuit preventing function by covering efficiently the boundary of the coated portion and non-coated portion of an active material mixture 12 of the electrode plate 10 even if heat is applied to the electrode plate and an insulating tape 13X is thermal-shrunken, when the insulating tape 13X is used for short circuit prevention at the boundary of the coated portion and the non-coated portion of the active material mixture 12.

SOLUTION: The boundary of the coated portion and the non-coated portion of an active material mixture 12 of the electrode plate 10 is covered with an insulating tape 13X, and the shrinkable axis direction of the insulating tape is made to be the longitudinal direction of the electrode plate. In this case, the insulating tape 13X is adhered with a low temperature thermoplastic paste material on one face and it is preferable that the boundary of the coated portion and the non-coated portion of the active material mixture of the electrode plate is thermally adhered.
