PULSED LIGHT IRRADIATION DEVICE AND PULSED LIGHT IRRADIATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsed light irradiation device with which an object to be irradiated is suitably irradiated with pulsed light by using an optical transmission means such as an optical fiber, and a pulsed light irradiation method.

SOLUTION: The pulsed light irradiation device 1A is constructed by using a pulsed laser light source 10 to supply pulsed light with a predetermined wavelength and a multimode fiber 15 to transmit the pulsed light to the object S to be irradiated. Also, an input side pulsed light control part 30 to widen the time wave form of the pulsed light inputted from the pulsed laser light source 10 to the fiber 15 is installed on the input side of the multimode fiber 15. An output side pulsed light control part 40 to curtail the time wave form of the outputted pulsed light outputted from the fiber 15 and generate irradiation pulsed light with a desired wave form is installed on the output side thereof.
