<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an arc tube to be easily replaced without detaching a base material part holding a concave reflecting mirror and the like from an image display device or the like, in a light source device for emitting light emitted from the arc tube by reflecting it with the concave reflecting mirror. <P>SOLUTION: A rear side holding member 8 can be rotated, with respect to a base material part 1, between a form holding one-side electrode on the side of a sealed part of the arc tube 2 and a form allowing entry and withdrawal of the arc tube 2 into/from the concave reflecting mirror 5 by retracting from a path of entry and withdrawal of the arc tube 2 into/from the concave reflecting mirror 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
