PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse width modulator circuit which realizes a high speed and high accuracy operation. SOLUTION: The pulse width modulator circuit generates multiphase clock signals by a multiphase clock generator circuit 2 based on a reference clock, and generates pulse width modulated signals based on input data and the multiphase clock signals generated by the multiphase clock generator circuit 2. The multiphase clock generator circuit 2 has a phase-locked loop circuit and phase-compensates an intermediate clock signal generated by the multiphase clock generator circuit 2, to generate the multiphase clock signal.
