PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional delivery of filtering patterns that an optimum filtering pattern cannot be delivered for every apparatus since all apparatuses connected to a content filtering device are treated in the same manner, and a user cannot find a filtering pattern most suitable to an apparatus in selecting a filtering pattern from apparatuses. SOLUTION: A filtering device 101 is provided with a device kind information management part 104, and a filtering list server 102 is provided with a device kind information and filtering list database part 105. The filtering device 101 transmits device kind information to the filtering server 102, whereby a filtering pattern list based on the device kind information is delivered.
