<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system effectively suppressing an unnecessary wave component with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: Aperture separation signals Xl, Xr, Xu, Xd are generated from outputsΣ,ΔAZ,ΔEL obtained from received signals X11, X12, X21, X22 by a plurality of sub arrays in a main antenna 1. Then an auxiliary channel beam output in a form of covering an antenna pattern of the main antenna 1 is obtained by applying weighting of amplitude and phase or only the phase to the aperture separation signals Xl, Xr, Xu, Xd and applying beam composition to the result.
