MOBILE TERMINAL DEVICE AND HAND-OVER EXECUTING METHOD FOR EXECUTING HANDOVER IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device and a hand over executing method for shortening the time duration required for hand over execution in a WLAN system. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device comprises a first receiving unit 210 for receiving a signal of a wireless access point using a data channel; a second reception unit 220 for receiving the signal from the wireless access point, using a control channel sequentially; a memory 224 for storing in line the signal of the wireless access point received from the second reception unit 220 in the order of a fixed dimension; and a controlling unit 200 for indicating the wireless access point for executing the hand over to be determined by searching the stored wireless access point sequentially, when magnitude of the received signal using the data channel is smaller than a determined value.
