PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus in which a flexible cable is hardly broken by means of its reinforcement part even if a tray is housed into the inside of a case repeatedly many times and which has a long service life. SOLUTION: This optical disk apparatus is provided with: a tray 20 provided movably between a first position to which an optical disk can be loaded and a second position for reading information from the optical disk; and a case 10 which supports the tray so as to be able to slide and is provided with an electronic circuit substrate or the like. The tray is packaged with a pickup 30 reading information from the optical disk, a disk motor 31, and various parts including a control part controlling them, also, a reinforcement sheet 50 which is connected electrically through the flexible cable arranged in a state in which it is bent in the case, and which has such a shape that when the tray is moved between the first position and the second position and stress is dispersed by making an end part a wave type at one part od a bend range of the flexible cable moved as moving of the tray is attached.
