PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine to improve the turbine-exhaust performance by further lessening the pressure loss of a turbine exhaust chamber, and highly maintain the strength of the turbine exhaust chamber. SOLUTION: The steam turbine is provided with a front partition plate 37a and a rear partition plate 37b in an external casing lower half part 21a<SB>2</SB>. Bordering a lower half keel rib 34b installed in the external casing lower half part 21a<SB>2</SB>, the front partition plate 37a and the rear partition plate 37b are extended toward side walls 38a, 38b of the external casing lower half part 21a<SB>2</SB>, and arranged to tilt.
