PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network telephone system effectively realizing a group paging function without reference to the number of terminals to which voice packets should be distributed. SOLUTION: When a request signal for group paging addressed to an extension group TG1 arrives at a main device 2A, the main device 2A performs incoming control over telephone terminals T11, T12, T13 belonging to the extension group TG1 by referring to storage contents of an extension group table and distributes IP packets of the caller to the telephone terminals T11, T12, T13 of the corresponding extension group TG1 through a LAN 1 by software processing when the telephone terminals are connected.
