PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hologram ornament in which the reduction in the design properties of hologram patterns caused by the generation of a void phenomenon can be suppressed, and to provide a method for producing a hologram ornament capable of producing a hologram ornament while suppressing the reduction in the designing properties of hologram pattern caused by the generation of a void phenomenon. SOLUTION: The design face 13 of a base material 12 composing an ornamental plate 11 as a hologram ornamental body is protrusively provided with a plurality of character ornamental parts 21. A plurality of ornamental projecting parts 22 are formed on the upper face of each character ornamental part 21. Hologram patterns 24 are formed on the surface of each ornamental projecting part 22. The ornamental projecting parts 22 are formed by a method such as a diamond cut. On the other hand, the hologram patterns 24 are formed by pressing the upper face of a transferring pattern forming a shape in accordance with the same against the upper face of each character ornamental part 21.
