PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, high performance and high safety base isolation structure system, applicable even to a small scale and lightweight structure from a large structure, and capable of providing stable restoring force up to large deformation. SOLUTION: A structure 3 is supported by a sliding bearing 23, a rolling bearing 22 or a laminated rubber system bearing 21. A cable 26 is tensioned in the horizontal two directions on a base isolation layer or an outer peripheral part of a bottom surface of the structure. An end part of its cable 26 is fixed to the ground 1 side, and its intermediate part is connected to the structure 3 so as to be slidable in the shaft direction and transmit reaction in the orthogonal direction to a shaft, to thereby provide the base isolation structure system capable of allowing large deformation for a long period.
