<p>The synchronizing unit for an especially automated manual transmission has a sliding sleeve installed torsionally fixed but axially movable on a synchronizer body, and a synchronizing ring installed between the synchronizer body and coupling teeth of a gearwheel (4) on the transmission shaft. The axial adjustment movement of the sliding sleeve is hydraulically damped. A slot is provided on the gearwheel end (14) facing the sliding sleeve, and with the sliding sleeve in an end stop position a protrusion formed on the sliding sleeve's end face (12) which faces the gearwheel engages in the slot, displacing oil from the slot.</p> |
