A simple cleaning system for a barbeque grid has a plastic bag (1) with sealing grips (3) at the top end and with carrying handles. The soiled grid is wrapped in a plastic foam sheet and placed into the bag. A small amount of cleaning fluid is added into the bag to enable the grease etc. to loosen and thereby allow a simple cleaning action, e.g. simply by pulling the grid in and out of the folded foam inlay.
