PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure where the diameter of a through hole to pass the output shaft of a motor can be taken large, in a motor where sections different in reluctance are made in the circumferential direction of a rotor by forming magnetic paths divided by slits in the rotor. SOLUTION: A plurality of slits 20, which extend in the radial direction and extend in its circumferential direction or chord direction nearly between the magnetic poles P, are made to form magnetic poles P in the rotor. The width (b) of the circumferential slit part 28 extending in its circumferential direction or chord direction is narrower than the width (a) of the radial slit 26 extending in the radial direction.
