<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side injection tube for positively carrying out side injection by inserting a tip tube of a syringe (a projecting tube from which an injection needle is removed) without using a hard pointed needle, thereby preventing a needle tip from being thrusted into a finger to completely eliminate an erroneous puncture accident of the injection needle and a hospital infection accident to a medical worker. <P>SOLUTION: This side injection tube has: a cylindrical body 4 having a constricted opening part 2 at the upper part, and a passage connecting part 3 at the lower part; a hollow elastic body 5 with the top face pressed into the opening part of the cylindrical body and having a vertical hole actualized when constriction is released by an inserted object from the opening part; and a board-like elastic body 6 interposed between the hollow elastic body and the passage connecting part. A cavity of the hollow elastic body is provided with an inside hollow needle capable of penetrating the board-like elastic body when the hollow elastic body is compressed downward by the inserted object from the opening part of the cylindrical body. The vertical hole in the top face of the hollow elastic body is actualized while penetrating the board-like elastic body with the hollow needle at the same time only by inserting the tip tube of the syringe into the upper opening part of the cylindrical body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
