PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke playing device with which a user sets and registers a singing part desired by the user in a karaoke music which the user likes as a song-inserted incoming melody by specifying it easily and efficiently and, as a result, the user can arrange the song-inserted incoming melody the user likes uniquely and, also which, when the user sings the karaoke music again and again, provides the sound recording data of the singing of the singing part which is sung by the user most skillfully objectively as the song-inserted incoming melody efficiently. SOLUTION: The karaoke playing device is equipped with a mechanism with which the user sets and registers a singing section which is an object of a song-inserted incoming melody desired by the user as the song-inserted incoming melody by specifying it freely and also the device is configured so that it can grade respective singing sections being objects of the song-inserted melody when the user sings the music again and again and it can extracts the sound recording of the song which shows the highest marks in these grading results and it can control the sound recording data of the song to be transferrable to a portable telephone set.
