<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control method capable of changing visual direction to an image displayed on a display device in accordance with player's operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display control method for an image display device system for displaying an image obtained by seeing through and projecting an object in a virtual three-dimensional coordinate space to a two-dimensional plane in a prescribed visual direction: a specific area is set on the display surface of the image; the coordinate position of the display surface is specified by a pointing means which is independent at least of the display device in distance and optically coupled with the display surface of the display device; the coordinate position of the display surface of the image which is specified by the pointing means is detected; the vector of the detected coordinate position from the boundary of the specific area is obtained; and the movement of the visual direction is controlled by the displacement of the visual direction which corresponds to the magnitude of the vector in the obtained vector direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
