<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of conventional technology: because it cannot be decided whether a component used in product production performed one day is a component produced by one's own company or a component produced by a subcontractor, high-accuracy cost of the product produced one day cannot be calculated. <P>SOLUTION: This product information management device automatically determines a kind showing whether the component identified by a constituting item identifier is produced by the own company or by the subcontractor on the basis of a production results day of the production, buying results day information of the component, and production results day information of the component, and calculates the cost of the product on the basis of the kind.
