METHOD OF DETERMINING CHARACTERISTICS OF ENZYME FOR REDOX REAGENT SYSTEM, ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL, AND SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and quick method of determining a characteristic of an enzyme for a redox reagent system used for determining carbohydrate specificity in a variant of s-GDH, an electrochemical cell, and a system and a kit provided therewith.

SOLUTION: The method determines the characteristics of then enzyme for the redox reagent system. A sample containing the enzyme for the redox reagent system and a known amount of substrate is applied to the electrochemical cell containing an enzyme-free reagent composition having a mediator for the redox reagent system, in order to execute the method. There is also provided an electrochemical test piece including the electrochemical cell, and the system and the kit including the same. Those have various uses for the characteristic determination for the redox reagent system and so on.
