<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for connecting a hose with a valve for an LP gas container whereby connecting of a coupling can be prevented in a state that a valve is opened, and rattling at the time of connecting of the coupling can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The coupling includes a turning shaft 2m formed on an outer periphery of a coupling body, a pair of levers 2k pivotally attached on the turning shaft 2m, a beam member 21 mutually connecting longitudinal direction intermediate parts of the levers 2k, a recessed part 2s formed in the longitudinal direction intermediate part of the lever 2k and fitted onto a protruding part 1d of the valve 1, a plate cam 2n pivotally attached on a tip of the lever 2k and having a sliding side abutted to an outer peripheral surface of the protruding part 1d and slid in connecting of the valve 1 and the coupling body, and a grip part 2jb fixed on the coupling body on an opposite side from the beam member 21 while having a coupling axis therebetween.
