AXIAL TYPE SWASH PLATE TYPE PISTON PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize good sliding action of a piston shoe with a pump provided with at least a static pressure pocket at a disk part of a piston shoe.

SOLUTION: A piston shoe 13 connected to an end part of the piston and sliding on a cam plate 15 provided on a swash plate 14 is provided. The piston shoe 13 is connected to the piston 9 and includes a spherical bearing 13A of which diameter D0 is established smaller than a diameter D2 of the piston 9 and a disk part 13B sliding on the cam plate 15, and a neck part 13C which connecting the spherical bearing 13A and the disk part 13B and of which diameter D5 is established smaller than the diameter D0 of the spherical bearing 13A. A static pressure pocket 20 storing lubricating oil is provided on a side facing the cam plate 15 of the disk part 13B. Diameter D1 of the static pressure pocket 20 is established larger than the diameter D5 of the neck part 13C of the piston shoe 13 and less than the diameter D2 of the piston 9.
