<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an MTF from deteriorating, clear exposed image a defective image such as vertical streaks from occurring on a printed image by setting the shape and position of a masking member in accordance with image forming characteristics of rod lens elements. <P>SOLUTION: The exposure equipment has a lens array 52 having a plurality of lens elements 57 to focus light from a light source 76 on a photosensitive body and a screening member to screen at least a part of an outside periphery from light from the light source 76 with respect to the direction of the optical axis of the lens elements 57 and used for an electrophotographic image forming device. the shape or the position of the screening member is set in accordance with the image forming characteristics of the lens elements 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
