<p>The oil pump has a wheel set (2) with an inner (3) and an outer (4) wheel which are toothed. The wheel set is installed on an inner housing (11) and enclosed by cover plates (8,9) which are mounted on the inner housing. The cover plates are screwed to the outer wheel and the inner housing has suction passages (24) and pressure passages (26). Holes to accommodate fastening screws are located in the inner housing, and the inner housing has an overpressure valve, a spring, and a cover. At least one cover plate may be toothed on its outer circumference so that the cover plate is designed as a drive chain wheel.</p> |
