Method of remote fixation of defective truck, at which the deviations in the diameter of circles of rolling of adjacent wheels are recorded with the help of potentiometric pickups connected with the sliders pressed against wheels. Electrical signals from the pickups are additionally converted into infrared radiation, which is transmitted to the receiver mounted near the railroad track.
