The method for diagnosing choriocarcinoma of uterus comprises the moderate hypothermal or hyperthermal exposure of the uterus followed by ultrasonic scanning. The image of the uterus is then analyzed, the contours of the ultrasound image are outlined with the aid of the digital filters. The centers of the mass for the image of the contours and the cavity of uterus are calculated. The distance between the centers of the mass (d) in the case of choriocarcinoma is 101+- 15 pixels.
