METHOD FOR ASSESSING BRAIN REACTIVITY

The method for assessing brain reactivity comprises recording electroencephalogram with simultaneous photostimulation by a series of the light flashes of specified frequency for analyzing the acquisition of the rhythm. The absolute spectral output is calculated for the analyzed frequency ranges generated in the setting of the imposed frequency. Then the brain reactivity is assessed according to the normal pattern and with increasing degree of consciousness derangement. The reactivity of the base-line electroencephalogram is compared with that recorded upon the photostimulation.
