PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the response time in traction control in a vehicle of motor drive. SOLUTION: In the vehicle which controls the current from an inverter to be constant and supplies the motor with drive power so as to rotate a driving wheel with this motor, a voltage command value V to the inverter is increased suddenly, when the driving wheel begins idling. So, this system decides that the idling is already started in a decision step S2, when the time rateΔV of the voltage command value V reaches a specified value A, and performs the traction control by reducing the drive power to be supplied from the inverter to the motor in a reduced control subroutine S4, thereby shortening the response time in traction control.
