PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, its control method, and a control program capable of printing analysis error information on a received E-mail while avoiding wasteful use of sheets. SOLUTION: When an error occurs in analyzing the received E-mail, the error information is attached to the analysis data of a text part of the E-mail to create data of a new text page, data on this text page are converted into image data for printing.
