PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link device for realizing an incremental link without affecting a code size. SOLUTION: This link device is provided with a change object file specifying part 101A, a non-change object code arranging means 101C, a change object code arranging means 101D, an address re-calculation means 101E and a change information recording means 101G. On the other hand, a time stamp specifying the changing point of time of each object file in a change information storage area 102 at the time of link. Then, at the time of the second and following link, the time stamp is compared with a time stamp stored by the object file so that the changed object file can be specified. The changed object code is moved to the terminal of a code image, and arranged by narrowing clearances between the codes.
