<p>A first parameter (FP) is determined for a user. Generated and assigned to the FP, a code number (CN) is passed to the user. Along with a second parameter for the user, the CN is then passed from the the user to an evaluatory unit (3). The FP is determined from the CN and assigned to a second parameter for the user for the purpose of identification. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) A system for identifying a user in a computer network; (B) and for a computer program product for running on a computer as part of a system for identifying a user in a computer network; (C) and for a data carrier with data stored on it or a sequence of signals representing data and suitable for transmission over a computer network.</p> |
