OBSTACLE DETECTION SYSTEM USING PHASE LOCKED LOOP AND OBSTACLE DETECTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and a method for detecting obstacle using a phase locked loop are provided to improve reliability of a product by accurately detecting obstacle regardless of a dead point formed to a sensor strip of an obstacle detecting system. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic capacity detecting module(100) includes a sensor strip(110), an RF oscillator(121), a phase locked loop(150), a first MCU(160), and a frequency change part. The sensor strip detects electrostatic capacity. The RF oscillator is connected to the sensor strip. The phase locked loop maintains an oscillation frequency of the RF oscillator into a setting value. The first MCU controls an operation of the phase locked loop. The frequency change part is connected to the first MCU and the RF oscillator. A control module(300) includes a second MCU(310) for remotely controlling the first MCU of the electrostatic capacity detecting module. A transmitting line(200) connects the electrostatic capacity detecting module to the control module.
