<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based pigmented ink composition excellent in safety and smell which are problems in an ink composition using an organic solvent, capable of printing on a low cost film printing medium such as vinyl chloride film without having a receiving layer and enduring an environment of its use in outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based pigmented ink composition at least comprises a pigment, a polymer compound and an organic solvent. The composition is characterized by that the polymer compound comprises at least one selected from polyester resins, polyurethane resins, vinyl chloride resins and nitrocellulose, and the organic solvent comprises a (poly) alkylene glycol derivative comprising a dialkyl ethers of (poly) alkylene glycol in an amount of 20 to 90 wt.% and N-alkyl-2-pyrrolidone as a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound in an amount of 1 to 30 wt.%, each based on the whole weight of the ink composition, and the ink composition has a flash point of at least 63°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
