<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing method quickly and precisely reacting to the gray levels of the color luminance, based on the OD values acquired by function operations, and to improve the desirable reaction speed effects to the gray levels, when processing the signals. <P>SOLUTION: A signal processing method refers to luminance gray level reaction speed processing, by measuring the accelerated drive transport (OVER DRIVING) voltage (commonly called an OD value) to form a measured OD table, obtains four corresponding OD compression tables from the OD table by the compression method, and obtains the OD reduction value by the function operation system.
