PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make character strings to be a keyword easy to be visually observed in the case of displaying a result by performing vicinity retrieval.

SOLUTION: When two or more combinations of a starting keyword A and a termination keyword B (combination constituting of a starting keyword A whose positional information is "11" and a termination keyword B whose positional information is "20" and combination consisting of a starting keyword A whose positional information is "15" and a termination keyword B whose positional information is "20") are made within a range of the number of characters (10 characters) between keywords, combination in which the starting keyword A and the termination keyword B are approximated most (the combination consisting of the starting keyword A whose positional information is "15" and the termination keyword B whose positional information "20") is adopted as the optimal combination 601b among the two or more combinations and the starting keyword A and the termination keyword B of the optimal combination 601b are enhanced and displayed on a screen.
