PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with memory card and its operation-history storing method by which the operation history can be referred from the memory card 7 at obstacle-occurrence by utilizing the memory card 7 for judging whether the fault of a printer is caused by user's misoperation or the mechanical failure of the printer itself while enabling the maintainability to be improved and the best as well as quick correspondence to be realized. SOLUTION: An attention is paid to what the operation history of the printer can be considered objectively and quickly by enabling the various operation histories to be copied or stored in the memory card 7 attached to the printer.The printer is equipped with a printing section 4, an operation section 9, a data storing section 6 and the memory card 7.
