PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away tip clamping mechanism which has good maintenance property while ensuring firm mountability. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the throw-away tip clamping mechanism, a cartridge mounting surface (4) is formed on a tool main body (1), and a cartridge (2) is detachably fixed onto the cartridge mounting surface (4) by a first fastening screw (7). The cartridge (2) has a throw-away tip (3) fixed thereto by a second fastening screw (25), and a clamping member (63) for pressing and holding the throw-away tip (3) is fixed to the first fastening screw (7) by a third fastening screw (46).
