PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rollover determining method for identifying a plurality of rollover forms with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The rollover determining method identifies the plurality of rollover forms when rollover is caused in a vehicle to perform rollover determination corresponding to the rollover forms, and comprises a first determination step for determining whether or not the rollover form is a first type of rollover form based on a prescribed first detection condition, and a second determination step to be executed when the result of the determination in the first determination step is negative, for determining whether or not the rollover form is a second type of rollover form based on a prescribed second detection condition.
