<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color reversible recording material which has a high image contrast, is excellent in repeating stability, image stability or the like, and is capable of displaying at least two colors. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible recording material has a substrate and a recording layer formed at least one face of this substrate and comprising micro-capsules in which a mixture composed of a magnetic particle, a dispersion medium being a solid state at room temperature and a coloring agent is included, and is capable of repeating writing and erasing of an image by moving the magnetic particles (14) in a part wherein the dispersion medium is melted by applying a heat and a magnetic field. In the multi-color reversible recording material, the recording layer comprises at least two micro-capsules (11 and 12) which enclose the dispersion media (15 and 16) with different melting points on every color of the coloring agents, and exhibit different color phases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
