<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To view a high resolution, sharp stereoscopic image from any directions without taking into account of the timing of projecting two-dimensional division images. <P>SOLUTION: A polygon mirror 5 composed of, for example, twenty-four mirrors arranged almost in a ring form around the rotatory shaft 23 of a screen 3 is disposed. In addition, four projectors 1a to 1d are arranged above the polygon mirror 5 and on the same circle around an axis 24 extended from the rotatory shaft 23. The projectors 1a to 1d each emit projection images including the division images for the corresponding group of six mirrors. These division images represent different sides of the same object. They are reflected by the different mirrors and projected onto the screen 3. The screen 3 is rotated such that the division images reflected by opposite mirrors are projected onto the faces of the screen 3.
