PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the management cost of an image forming device in an environment with a low interest for security. SOLUTION: In an image forming device connected to a terminal through a network and used under an environment where a pair of public key/private key is installed from the terminal, a data processing device is provided with a storage unit storing the public key/private key and an initial value of a public key certificate, and a secure communication means performing communication with the terminal by using the pair of public key/private key and the initial value of the public certificate stored in the storage unit.
