PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece by which even a child who cannot read a character (figure) and cannot understand the timepiece can know that a preset time has come. SOLUTION: An eye part display means 11 for displaying at least one eye-like pattern when the preset time has come is provided. The eye part display means 11 is provided with an eye hole member 9 and a prism 3, and displays the eye-like pattern 15, interlocked with at least one movement of the long hand 4 or the short hand 5. Thus, the eye-like pattern 15 looks like as if the eye of a person moves. Because the eye-like pattern 15 can draw attention of the child when it becomes the time when the child should pay attention thereto, the child can know that the time has come, wherein it is educationally suitable because the sense of time can be cultivated.
