<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor that allows easily specifying in a short period of time the cause of trouble occurring during print settings, and easily investigating a print setting procedure which will not cause trouble. <P>SOLUTION: On receiving a print setting procedure record file recorded by means of a user PC 101, a support center PC 102 specifies based on the opened print setting procedure record file a trouble-causing operating procedure occurring on the user PC 101. Further, the support center constructs the same software environment as the user PC 101 from the print setting procedure record file, obtains differences from default due to control changes, creates at least one print setting pattern from the differences due to the control changes, specifies print settings that will cause no trouble, and sends the settings to the user as a method of avoiding troubles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
