<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience of a discharge lamp lighting device with a timer function by notifying beforehand of putting the light off with the timer at lighting off. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a lighting circuit for lighting a discharge lamp, a safety bulb circuit for lighting a safety bulb (miniature bulb), a control circuit for controlling these, and a remote-control transmitter for remote control operation. The discharge lamp lighting device is provided with a timer function receiving signals from the remote-control transmitter with the control circuit, and putting off the discharge lamp after elapse of a given time by the timer lighting-off signals from the remote-control transmitter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
