<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a limited network band by a large number of users. <P>SOLUTION: A network management system of a communication network 300 which can perform traffic transfer by a band guarantee and a best effort is provided: with a service management means 10 which receives the reservation information of the band guarantee from a user, and registers; a network management means 20 which manages the band guarantee in the network 300 according to the registered information, and the operation of traffic transfer by the best effort; and a throughput reduction supervisory means 30 which detects a non-reserved user by whom reduction of throughput is predicted based on the sum of the registered guarantee band, and performs the notification of throughput reduction to a non-reserved user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
