发明名称 METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGH RIGID ULTRAHIGH MOLECULAR POLYETHYLENE MOLDED ARTICLE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene molded article which can comply even with purposes of use required for high rigidity. SOLUTION: The method comprises (a) process of making a groove for inserting a part of a metal material having the rigidity necessary for the purposes of use of the molded article in a part of the first ultrahigh molecular polyethylene molded article and a mirror surface, (b) a process of forming a groove for inserting the rest of the said metal material into the second ultrahigh molecular polyethylene molded article, (c) a process of supporting the said metal material between the first and the second materials by inserting them into the inserting grooves, (d) a process of introducing the inserted metal material into a die, followed by heating at predetermined temperature and pressure, whereby melting together the first and the second ultrahigh molecular polyethylene molded article to form an ultrahigh molecular polyethylene molded article and (e) a process of taking out the molded article from the molding die after the temperature of the molded article is reduced to a room temperature.
