<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical testing apparatus which shows excellent operationality because of the smooth insertion into a celom or a blood vessel and is easily inserted into the celom or the blood vessel of a small inner diameter so that the scope of a diagnosis and a treatment of vascular diseases by measuring NO concentration in a body is expanded. <P>SOLUTION: This chemical testing apparatus is constituted of a flexible tube 10, an NO sensor 20 attached to one end of the tube 10 for detecting NO in a liquid, and a cone shaped elastic inserter 30A firmly fixed to the distal end portion of the tube 10 directly or through a supporter 40.
