PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front-end driver stage which drives an output stage of a power amplifier which drives the deflection coil of convergence yoke of a cathode-ray tube vessel. SOLUTION: The power amplifier circuit drives loading, with convergence correction current proportional to convergence correction voltage wave impressed to it. The front-end driver stage of the power amplifier circuit consists of a first and a second transistor of a push-pull configuration. The first and the second voltage divider networks carry out biasing of the emitter electrode of the first and the second transistors, respectively; and as a result, common mode current between the first and the second transistor becomes restricted. The first and the second voltage dividers protects the first and the second transistor from damages stemming from thermal runaway, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
